Fins, Flash and Fashion.
That is what the 1959 Cadillac’s were all about. The new Cadillac was 9 inches longer than the 1958 Cadillac. It was
long, wide and low and had the most outrageous fins
in the market place. With the abundance of chrome and magnificent paint work and it’s genuine leather interior it was
flashy and made a statement. In 1960 the United States elected a new president; a young man with a young family - the US had
a new commitment. JFK was committed to the space program and said we would have a man on the moon in the next decade. This
personal luxury car was depicted as your space ship. The government was recruiting astronaut’s to make the journey.
The astronaut’s were said to have the right stuff. When you bought and drove a 1959 Cadillac you told the world that
you had the right stuff. 50 years later not much has changed, this car still makes a loud and clear statement. The car is equipped with most everything that was available in 1959. Power steering,
seats, brakes, windows, factory air, dual outside rear view mirrors, remote control driver side mirror, automatic high beam
sensor, dual exhaust, factory in-dash radio with modern Eclipse AM/FM CD in the glove box. It comes with a 390 V8, 325hp
engine. Seminole Red finish code 50 and Red and White leather interior code 59 with Ivory Top. This car is an icon and is the most desirable Cadillac of the 50’s. Which means it’s the most desirable
car of all the 1950’s. Check to pictures and you will see
it has excellent chrome, paint, glass and top. The following is an explanation of the plate: Style 59 - the year, 6267
- Convertible Coupe 2 door, Body FW 9554 - Body Production Numbers, Trim 28 - Red and White leather, Paint 50 - Seminole Red,
